Hello Charles, the development release isn't intended for production use; a lot of the things common to security updates in supported releases just won't be present for the development release. It'll eventually get a new kernel package based on a new upstream series and we'll address whatever remains to be fixed nearer to release.
You can of course try to use the kinetic kernels on your own systems; the pull-lp-debs command from the ubuntu-dev-tools package might be more convenient than looking up URLs on launchpad manually or trying to manage installing the kinetic repositories on your lunar system.
