Public bug reported:
Hello,
there are Perl apps like Checkgmail which are able to use libsexy for
some extended functionality. Checkgmail, for example, can display
clickable links via libsexy. Unfortunately neither Debian nor Ubuntu
seem to provide the Perl bindings necessary.
Luckily the process of building such a package is quite easy, all you
need is:
dh-make-perl
libsexy-dev
With those packages (and their dependencies) installed, type the
following:
# dh-make-perl --build --cpan Gtk2::Sexy
The resulting .deb package - in my case libgtk2-sexy-
perl_0.02-1_i386.deb - will provide the necessary Perl bindings for
libsexy.
Of course you can run dh-make-perl without the --build parameter for
creating a source package meeting the Debian/Ubuntu standards.
