Each open office application seems to use a common save/load dialogue
box(?) such that when one opens the 'recent documents' menu in 'File
Menu' the documents shown are all of those from all of the Open Office
suite, whereas it would be far preferable if the last documents shown
for each application would be those from that application - otherwise
one gets a great mish-mash of irrelevant files coming up. The Microsoft
suite uses the method I suggest and I think it is far smoother. If it is
Ubuntu policy to have a common save/load dialogue, then please could you
have two menu options then - one for all recent docs and one for all
recent docs from the particular application in use. I'm guessing now,
but suspect that the common dialogue is used for load and save and for
recent docs and the problem overlaps which is why the effect in my first
posting (above) is seen?

Cheers and keep up the good work - Jules
