It looks like the dmesg buffer filled up and therefore lost the initial boot messages. Care to try capturing the dmesg output right after a fresh boot, or otherwise take a look at /var/log/kern.log.0?
Also, can you try one other test for me? See if you have a 'hald-addon- storage' process(es) running. If so, try killing them. Does that stop the messages from appearing?
