I fixed it on my own machine by changing 
/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/UpdateManager/UpdateManager.py at the function 
_get_ua_security_status, where running `pro security-status --format=json`, I 
replaced `pro` with `usr/bin/pro`. Apparently, there are other executables that 
may have that same name and not specifying the full path allows for name 
collisions.
