I had this problem with Ubuntu 24.04 with VirtualBox 7.0.14-dfsg-4 on my computer Fixed it for now by installing Oracle test 7.0.15 test build https://www.virtualbox.org/download/testcase/VirtualBox-7.0.15-162366-Linux_amd64.run from https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Testbuilds
