Binary package hint: system-config-printer
If there are network printers configured but the computer is taken off
the network, system-config-printer returns a "There was a problem
connecting to the CUPS server." error on starting and then terminates.
This means that it is impossible to configure printers when not
connected to the network. For a laptop, this is a serious limitation.
