Originally noticed when tried to install wireshark on a fully updated
Noble amd64 machine:
# apt install wireshark
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
libqt6multimedia6 : Depends: libavcodec60 (>= 7:6.0)
Depends: libavformat60 (>= 7:6.0)
# apt install libavcodec60
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
libavcodec60 : Depends: libavutil58 (= 7:6.1.1-1ubuntu1) but 7:6.1.1-3ubuntu1
is to be installed
Depends: libzvbi0 (>= 0.2.35) but it is not going to be
installed
# apt install libzvbi0
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
libzvbi0 : Depends: libzvbi-common (= 0.2.42-1.1) but 0.2.42-1.2 is to be
installed

Current versions of other ffmpeg packages are indeer 7:6.1.1-3ubuntu1,

Those packages can't be installed though because libavcodec60:amd64 is
stuck on previous version, package page lacks amd64 links. This breaks
