Does it work with vpnc alone then (i.e. on the command line)? (you were not 
sure in the original report, so I am asking)
Because if it is working with vpnc, it is surely kvpnc's bug:-).

also try running
usr/sbin/vpnc --script 
/home/<homedir>/.kde/share/apps/kvpnc/vpnc-script.<profilename> --debug 5 
--pid-file /home/<homedir>/.kde/share/apps/kvpnc/vpnc-pid.<profilename>.pid 
--natt-mode cisco-udp --udp-port 10000 --pfs server --dh dh2 --ifmode
If it does not work, you coul compare these options with the ones you are using 
when using plain vpnc on the command line. This way we can nail down what 
exactly si the problem.
