Public bug reported:

When using Ubuntu for prolonged periods of time, I have noticed that the
RAM is slowly filling up with similar workload. This leads to the
computer slowing down, often to a halt. I have also noticed that the
problem is gone each time I log out or restart. From what I experienced,
roughly 0.5GB-1GB gets taken up per hour. I was unable to identify if a
particular app is causing this, as it does take a long time to reproduce
this bug to a noticeable extent.

Release of Ubuntu: Ubuntu 22.04.04 LTS (Gnome)

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
