Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel

Running application gmsh (OpenGL) causes system crash (hard reboot required). 
This has happened on every occasion, after varying (but very short) amounts of 
time. 

Have run the application on one occasion with DRI disabled, and no crash
occurred  (though application became unbearably slow).

in xorg.0.log there is a line "space: 129768 wanted 131064" which looks
like a possible cause.
