sudo chmod +x /usr/share/screen-resolution-extra/nvidia-polkit
fixes it, but c'mon. it's one line of code....(maybe more for you, but it's 
only one in the terminal)
I really can't believe this hasn't been solved by now. Maybe it doesn't seem 
important enough? too hard? nvidia won't cooperate? dev's being pig headed? 
I don't think the user base cares about any of that. They just want a system 
that works as it should. And this issue has been ongoing for YEARS without a 
fix. I know, I'm not a dev. I have more than enough knowledge and I can read 
code, so maybe I'm missing something, but 5 years for one line of code is 
RIDICULOUS!!!!

Sorry for the tone, but c'mon.
