> Does prelink even work? Nope: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/prelink/+bug/1847611
Debian did remove the prelink package, and seems to have split execstack into a separate package (which has also been removed). Not sure why that wasn't followed in Ubuntu, if execstack is even still needed. I'm not keen on trying to reproduce, but I'm pretty sure prelink, as it stands, will still brick your system pretty hard (see comments). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2061029 Title: prelink FTBFS on Noble To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/prelink/+bug/2061029/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
