while installing hardy heron from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/jeos/daily/20080103/hardy-jeos-i386.iso in
VMware Workstation 6.0.2 build-59824, installation step (base install)
failed on the following:

linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.24-2-virtual but it is not installable

this was also true with jeos from day before. i did not use any non
default options.
