This seems not to be a bug neither in the Ubuntu version of ccsm nor the upstream release, but a consequence of having different parts of compiz coming from different repositories installed at the same time.
You, like me, probably used a third party repository to install Compis in Feisty, upgraded to Gutsy (which inactivated those third party repositories) and still have ccsm from the old repository left. Read more here: http://forum.compiz-fusion.org/showthread.php?p=35445 The solution is to (while only having Gutsy repositories enabled) simply reinstall compizconfig-settings-manager: sudo apt-get remove compizconfig-settings-manager sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager Worked for me - Does it work for you? ** Changed in: compizconfig-settings-manager Status: New => Invalid -- ccsm AttributeError: 'compizconfig.Plugin' object has no attribute 'Initialized' https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/143962 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
