That was a long time ago :) I have no more porblems with Ubuntu. It was a
phonetic bug when I
upgraded 5.12 to 6.06. Right now I am on 7.10 (upgraded from 7.04 via the net)
and I have no more
problems, thanx anyway that you`ve responded.
Recently I have some troubles, which I sloved with mu aMule. I`ve foud out
that when the yellow
line (the upload line) goes over 100, aMule just closes. The CPU goes over 100%
for a small duration
of time and aMule closes. It was a big trouble since I was downlading, going to
bed and when I awake
I`ve found that aMule stopped 5-6 minutes after I go to sleep and my PC was
running in vain :) The
key is: don`t upload too much and track the yellow line :)
I`ve spotted another bug, it`s GNOME bug I guess. Sometimes, when I am playing
various music tacks,
a specific bug occurs. The file I am doubleclicking stops responding and
instead of music file icon
it changes to a blank sheet icon. Weird huh? Well I sloved and this! Just
right-click on one of your
HDD icons and select "Properties" it gives a short screen cleaning and
everything is fine {:)
