Public bug reported: Binary package hint: epiphany-browser
Epiphany's personal data manager does not display any information about stored passwords (when you click on the 'Passwords' tab you get an empty window). The files signon.txt and signon2.txt exist in the $HOME/.gnome2/epiphany/mozilla/epiphany directory. I believe these are the files that xulrunner and/or firefox use for storing this personal information. An 'strace -e trace=open' suggests that these files aren't being looked for by epiphany. Also epiphany no longer asks if you want to 'remember' passwords. epiphany-gecko: 2.21.4-0ubuntu3 epiphany-browser: 2.21.4-0ubuntu3 ** Affects: epiphany-browser (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Personal data manager doesn't display any password information https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/180205 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
