Hi,first I'd like to thank you for your answer. I was not aware of configuring a mirror. i would not even know how I did that... What I did was adding i386 on arm because I noticed wine disappearing from the software center and i've tried installing it via terminal.
Wine installation, as any other package since then, has failed and results in update commands not updating anything (repositories, packages etc.) I am not familiar with ubuntu so I'm totally aware of messing something up, but unable to reverse it sadly. I severely modified ubuntu with extensions and things and I'm quite happy with how the system works and looks overall now, except for the impossibility to update it. I am also aware not reporting a bug, but m quite capable in using google and keywords, finding solutions on my own, and I did not find an actual fix -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2066998 Title: software update does not download updates, problem of sources, changing server does not help To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/2066998/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
