Okay thanks. As I said, it's Gutsy. I only used the red star on the top menu bar to upgrade. I did nothing else. I presume that's all available upgrades known by the standard ubuntu mechanisms used by most users. I did NOT do an "apt-get update;apt-get -f upgrade" or any such thing. I was completely upgraded to the latest until the red star appeared this week.
I am not up to speed on the file locations for the System->Admin (presuming you don't mean to have me work the dropdown menu). Please specify the path I should look in. I am not finding anything with the string "System->Admin" using grep -lRi.
