Public bug reported:

Proxmox was on the system before. You can see 'pve' in the screenshot.

I've attempted a from-the-start installation of Ubuntu 24.04 twice now
and it's crashed at the same point each time:  `wipefs --all --force
/dev/pve/data` is the failing command. That failure is not being handled
gracefully
