I really want KeePass 2 to work again. I'm probably willing to submit a
patch to fix this issue if someone can give me some direction about what
an acceptable patch is. I can think of three potential solutions:
1) Restore the PANGO_MAX_VERSION lines. This would be the easiest change.
2) Disable pango in a more direct way. I'm not sure if pango support is even
desired.
3) Fix pango support to render the text correctly. This would require a lot
more investigation.
Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you.
