Public bug reported: davfs2 segfaults on Ubuntu 24.04 whenever trying to access remote files via Ubuntu Files app (nautilus).
Multiple people affected: https://askubuntu.com/questions/1516340/davfs2-segfault-when-browsing- with-nautilus-and-ubuntu-24-04. Similar issue was happening on other systems: https://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?63364. Looks like the problem is with libneon and/or davfs2-1.7.0 (1.6.1 apparently has no issues, but can't confirm it as it's not available on 24.04). I migrated a week ago from 22.04 to 24.04, on 22.04 everything was working fine. From dmesg: mount.davfs[15034]: segfault at 0 ip 00007788ff1e1055 sp 00007fff36714a50 error 4 in libneon.so.27.6.0[7788ff1db000+18000] likely on CPU 2 (core 2, socket 0) Ubuntu 24.04 6.8.0-35-generic #35-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC x86_64 GNU/Linux lsb_release -rd: No LSB modules are available.
