I have a HP ProBook 450 G8 with 2 monitors (DisplayPort & HDMI) and a fresh Ubuntu 24.04 with all updates on 26.06.2024. I think I'm affected this bug too.
This option helped me a bit, but not completely: https://askubuntu.com/a/1518292 Currently I can lock screen without loging out. At least it seems that in most cases. Today it logged out me when office electricity gone (two monitors turned off in that moment). I can see /var/crash/_usr_bin_gnome- shell.1001.crash. My video card: VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation TigerLake-LP GT2 [Iris Xe Graphics] [8086:9a49] (rev 01) DeviceName: Onboard IGD This is a really annoying bug that prevents me from working normally. Let me know if I can provide some additional info to help with it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2064037 Title: gnome-shell crashes with SIGSEGV in tilingWindowManager.js:99 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/2064037/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
