Confirming what Rober Neve said, 6.8.0 works fine for me. In case you folks need a full journald output, I have it collected. kernel boot message + following loading of the desktop created messages.
PS: Can login-now. Apparently I had 2 accounts at UbuntuOne which locked my account.
