These logs are from Gutsy and Hardy booting with the nVidia 8400M GS selected, and nvidia-glx-new installed. Hardy boots (I think) but displays nothing on-screen. Hardy is responsive to Ctrl-Alt-BAckspace and Ctrl-Alt-Del.
