Unfortunately, the asterisk-core-sounds-es-gsm-current.tar.gz tar file
that can be downloaded from the Asterisk web site is, honestly,
horrible. The speech denotes a very hard North American accent (probably
someone from California), which is not very nice for a native speaker
like me.

The sounds packed by Ubuntu, however, sport a native accent, which is
great.
