I'm using the internal screen, and I have no other screens attached. The internal screen is a 3840x2160 resolution one.
No change if I set plymouth.use-simpledrm. It could be noted, though, that when I reboot from a working state, I see the splash screen on shutdown after X is shut down before the machine boots. That is, there is something that works once X has run proper. Moreover, if I remove "quiet" from the boot line (and enter my password blindly), after a while the screen blinks black" and I see the boot messages in high resolution (i.e. small font) for half a second on the screen right before I get dumped into the X login screen. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2072153 Title: LUKS/Cryptsetup shows blank screen on boot in noble To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/plymouth/+bug/2072153/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
