Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-ati
Whenever I play a video using XVideo output (any player), areas with
highly contrasting colors look significantly blockier than when the
video is played using X11 or OpenGL output. Kubuntu 7.10 with a Radeon
X300SE. No composite extension.
