Public bug reported:
New installation of ubuntu 22.04 desktop on a laptop. Can't go to 24.04.
When using the 6.5 kernel serie from linux-image-generic-hwe-22.04, the wifi
nic is not detected. Other problem: the trackpad is sluggish, as if there was
no acceleration at all. This report is about the network card though.
If I install linux-image-generic-hwe-20.04 I get the 5.15.0-113-generic
kernel, and everything is working great (network WIFI and trackpad).
I'm currently writing this bug report with the computer running Linux
5.15, because I use a notepad that has no wired network, but the
problems happen only with the linux-image-generic-hwe-22.04 and
6.5 Linux.
