Starting chromium using /snap/chromium/current/usr/lib/chromium- browser/chrome does not use the sandbox.
The gnoem-shell window tracker already has some code for this problem. It uses the wm_class_instance which is set correctly by chromium. But it also checks that the sandbox-id is matching. The sandbox-id for chromium is "chromium_chromium". This must match with the prefix of your desktop file. Additionally the StartupWMClass must match the wm_class_instance that is given by chromium. Use xprop to get the WM_CLASS(String), the first of the two values is the wm_class_instance. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1891649 Title: [snap] No separate icon/window tracking for app launchers To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/chromium-browser/+bug/1891649/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
