Public bug reported:

rpc.gssd in nfs-common 1.1.1-10ubuntu1 (hardy) is hard-coded to use only
encryption type 1 (des-cbc-crc), and thus will not work with servers
that require other encryption types, even though they are supported in
the kernel.

This is fixed by CITI:
http://www.citi.umich.edu/projects/nfsv4/linux/nfs-utils-patches/1.1.1-1/nfs-utils-1.1.1-007-gssd_use_kernel_supported_enctypes.dif

Of course, applying all the other CITI patches as well would be great:
http://www.citi.umich.edu/projects/nfsv4/linux/nfs-utils-patches/1.1.1-1/nfs-utils-1.1.1-CITI_NFS4_ALL-1.dif

     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
