I reported this bug against xorg. I wonder why it is set to
xfce4-settings package? The issue is also when I use xrandr to change
modes. How could it be desktop environment specific? Well, maybe it does
not happen with Wayland, though. I just noticed that I have reported
this bug before. It also occured in 20.04, if I used HWE kernel.
