Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: acpi-support

One of the update to Hardy in the last few days seems to have kill
suspend on my Dell Latitude 110l. It suspends properly. But when it
tries to resume I only get a black screen but with the mouse pointer
alternating between the arrow and the busy "circular" mouse pointer.

The only way out of there is to do a ctrl-alt-backspace which reboot the
laptop. I'm not sure which updated package broke it this week.

That laptop has properly suspended for a long while (since probably
Hoary or Breezy), so this problem in the last couple of days is a very
new one.

** Affects: acpi-support (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
