Oh actually it is trying to write to $HOME/.config, and (with few exceptions) snaps are not allowed to read dot files in the home directory. A normal execution will use $HOME/snap/chromium/current/.config instead.
Are you still running it with /snap/chromium/current/usr/lib/chromium- browser/chrome? You have probably put it in a inconsistent state by running the unsupported /snap/chromium/current/usr/lib/chromium- browser/chrome. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2061981 Title: chromium fails to start with non-standard home directory To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/chromium-browser/+bug/2061981/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
