Dear, this working arround change nothing - equal shift key cant been used to come in the boot menu! Equal many other users has the same problem many years. So, why not change this to an other resolution?
b, for grub issue, please change grub setting like: https://askubuntu.com/questions/16042/how-to-get-to-the-grub-menu-at-boot-time Thats now a long time issue eqal: c, for VM issue: it's a duplicated bug to LP:2073267 ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete d. From my lenovo I cant use the battery safe modus. After a hibernation (expl. close the screen and open), the num lock or shift lock cant been change, but the screen shows nothing. Only a hard reset with hard off let shut on the screen - all this problmes comes in the last months and are not resolved until today! Am Mi., 31.
