reach it.
It seems that between 1 and 2 you omitted that you selected "Other" in
"Download from: Main server" and then clicked "select best server", is
that right?
What was that standard canonical referenced mirror?

Title:
Software updater reports a failure to complete any of the http
requests, saying "check your internet connection" until I change the
mirror to another one, then change it back again. Only after these
steps, it works finally.
