Public bug reported:
Ubuntu 24.04 is slow to wakeup from hibernation. I am on Lenovo Thinkpad
P17 with NVidia driver. These are the observed behaviours:
(1) The external monitor is showing the screen but NOT with the desired
resolution and/or scale. I have to unplug and plug in the HDMI cable to
reset this. This happens 90% of the time!
(2) The external monitor is showing the screen but the primary monitor
is totally black / inactive. It takes longer time to wake up compared to
the external monitor.
(3) The primary monitor, even after wakup, has brightness fixed to 0. I
have to adjust the settings of the brightness manually.
