After doing some research on this topic I found the following patch http://www.unionofopposites.com/tech/applebtkb.shtml, which at first does not work for me; however, after doing some further research I realised that "hidd" is showing 05ac:022d for my keyboard (perhaps a new version of the keyboard?) so I adjusted the address in the patch and now everthing is working fine ;-)
