Binary package hint: nano
If not specified --noconvert on command line, nano saves files that were
opened with ^M instead of new lines (CR-LF). This is BAD as it breaks
bash scripts.
if open a new file, it does not do this.
if open a file for editing then save changes, it does.
in Ubuntu Edgy with nano 1.3.12-2
This just started happening recently (like today)
