Thanks. It does seem to suggest 59.88Hz is the preferred mode. > First detailed timing is the preferred timing > DTD 1: 1680x1050 59.883253 Hz 8:5 64.674 kHz 119.000000 MHz (478 > mm x 300 mm) > DTD 2: 1680x1050 119.997987 Hz 8:5 129.598 kHz 238.460000 MHz (478 > mm x 296 mm) > DTD 3: 1680x1050 109.998994 Hz 8:5 118.799 kHz 218.590000 MHz (478 > mm x 296 mm) > DTD 4: 1680x1050 100.000000 Hz 8:5 108.000 kHz 198.720000 MHz (478 > mm x 296 mm)
But I can't tell if it's a hardware bug or a software bug in either the kernel or Mutter. Please try selecting 'Ubuntu on Xorg' on the login screen. If that fixes the issue then it would most likely be a Mutter bug in the Wayland/native backend. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2074559 Title: [nouveau][Samsung SyncMaster] Top margin of secondary monitor covered with black flickering rectangle To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2074559/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
