I have the same problem here. Using cli command suspend or the keyboard key to suspend. Also using autifs to mount folder from server that is not always running without a problem until the last kernel update. In my case, unmounting shared folder on the client before putting the client in suspend still prevent entering into suspend mode. I can post log on request.
