I agree purge-old-kernels should not just do an `autoremove` by default,
but I do not agree on adding heuristics to the script. I'd just like the
script to eventually go away (it's unrelated to the rest of byobu
functionality), perhaps after a release where a deprecation warning and
suggested alternative command are printed. I am not a byobu maintainer,
so this is a wishlist item on par with yours.
