The patch got in as e3786b29c54cdae3490b07180a54e2461f42144c ("9p: Fix DIO read
through netfs") in v6.11-rc4
It has a fixes tag so Greg should pick it up for stable within ~2 weeks
Unfortunately it's causing other problems for cifs so not sure how that'll end,
so I'm not sure Canonical will move with that, but I was told off list that
they went through the revert netfs route internally so the ubuntu kernel should
work as far as I'm aware..
Either way can't do anything for you here as TJ said, please contact them
directly.
