Public bug reported:

R Bioconductor 3.19, compatible with R 4.4 (src:r-base 4.4.1-1 is
already in Oracular) was released on 2024-05-01 [1].

The "transition" was started in Debian on 2024-08-16 [2]. No packages
needs to be rebuilt, only new versions of the packages need to be
uploaded.

I believe there are 183 packages (all in universe) that need to be
sync'd from Debian. Sync-ing them in the correct order will avoid the
need for mass retries of build failures. 52 of these will require
removal of armhf binaries.

The recent test rebuild in Oracular [3] shows 14 r-bioc-* packages that
FTBFS.

I suggest waiting a week or so for the autopkgtest results in Debian.

I'm not sure that this requires a FeatureFreeze exception, but filing
this bug anyway as a place for discussion.
