Public bug reported:
Looks like vainfo requires elevated privileges to figure out which
devices are available:
a) When run as non privileged without arguments, it segfaults
b) Run as root without arguments, it works
c) Run as non privileged specifying the device, it works:
This has worked in the past for me on earlier versions of ubuntu,
although it was on a different laptop with (i7-7700HQ with igpu back
then vs Ryzen 9 7940HS with igpu now).
Using sway, not gnome.
