I tried to upgrade from Kubuntu 22.04 to 24.04.1. The process hung producing many copies of the following error messages.
No MATLAB installation found No MATLAB executables were found in the directories you specified. This package requires at least one local installation of MATLAB. Redundant argument in sprintf at /usr/share/perl5/Debconf/Element/Noninteractive/Error.pm line 54, <GEN225> line 1168970. mail: cannot send message: Process exited with a non-zero status I aborted the upgrade and fortunately I was able to get back in to Kunbuntu. I ]uninstalled matlab-support and restarted the dist-upgrade. Every thing went OK. Subsequently reinstalling matlab-support worked OK.
