Hello and thanks for this bug report. I tried reproducing this issue but
I've not been able to. Without further information (ideally: steps to
reproduce)we can't triage and begin working at this bug, so I'm setting
it to Incomplete for now.
I tried the following:
1. Created a clean Jammy container
2. Installed: php, php-phpdbg. These brought in php8.1, php8.1-phpdbg
3. Upgraded to Noble via `do-release-upgrade -d`
(-d is needed as J->N upgrades are currently disabled due to regressions.)
4. The upgrade worked fine and the final state of phpdbg packages is:
ii php-phpdbg 2:8.3+93ubuntu2
rc php8.1-phpdbg 8.1.2-1ubuntu2.18
ii php8.3-phpdbg 8.3.6-0ubuntu0.24.04.1e
which is what we expect.
** Changed in: php8.3 (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Incomplete
