hwloc-contrib should work with any version of the Nvidia drivers, and should not have a versioned-dependency on the version it was built against.
nvidia-graphics-drivers-NNN packages used to ship debian/libnvidia- compute-NNN.shlibs to allow this, so that libhwloc-contrib-plugins would have a dependency on the virtual package libnvidia-ml1, instead of libnvidia-compute-550 (>= 550.90.07), as above. In an attempt to work around this, I uploaded: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/hwloc-contrib/2.11.0-1ubuntu1 However, this upload was not installable on arm64, because there is currently no Nvidia driver for arm64 that Provides: libnvidia-ml1 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2072750 Title: hwloc 2.11.0-2 stuck in proposed as it requires libnvidia-compute-550 (>= 550.90.07) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/hwloc/+bug/2072750/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
