What I mean is what was available at the time: Ubuntu 24.04 with all updates. Fedora 40 with kernel 6.10 I think.
The right package is the kernel. With possibly having impacts on pipewire. Since no feedback was given here for months now, I have contacted kernel maintainer for alsa. The problem is a known issue on that generation of HP machines, probably also on one Generation older. Fix is supposed to be included in the next Kernel Version.: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/next/linux- next.git/commit/?id=176fd1511dd9086ab4fa9323cb232177c6235288 Note: this only connects the pins, we will see if this works with pipewire once it lands. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2067727 Title: elitedesk with i8500t doesnt output audio over dp To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/2067727/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
