Fresh install of Ubuntu 24.04.01
Plasma bigscreen was installed by running: sudo apt install plasma-
bigscreen
Attempting to login to a Plasma Bigscreen session (either x11 or wayland)
fails. Wayland won't move past the login screen, whereas x11 logs in and shows
an error message.
The x11 session can be fixed by installing kdeconnect with: sudo apt
install kdeconnect
The wayland session can be fixed by installing kdeconnect, and also kwin
wayland: sudo apt install kwin-wayland
This is the case even if plasma-bigscreen is installed with the
--install-suggests and/or --install-recommends flags.
